Winter Lanterns

We finished the books in the Questioneers series last week, but this week’s new book didn’t disappoint!  We read Waiting by Kevin Henkes, which is about watching the seasons change. We talked about how it's hard to wait for snow, but we know it will be here soon. We made lanterns in cool winter colors with tissue paper, contact paper, and chipboard and put them in a dark box with a flashlight as the light source to test them. The lanterns will help us feel extra cozy and warm as we watch the winter arrive!
